Ingram R. Lane

Ingram R. Lane, 94, Springfield, Mo. passed away , Thursday, August 16. 2012 in the Ash Grove Health Care Center, Ash Grove, Mo.

Ingram was born in Wishart, Missouri and grew up in the Morrisville and Wishart areas.

He was a graduate of Marion C. Early High School in 1936. He was a pressman for Independent Printing Co. for over 50 years. He was a member of High Street Baptist Church and a long time member of the Queen City Lions Club.

Ingram Lane and Lucille L. Doke were united in marriage on June 11, 1939. Together they were privileged to share 73 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph and Edna Ingram Lane. Also, preceding him were four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his loving family, wife, Lucille; daughter, Pat and husband Jim Sills of Guthrie, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Greg Sills, and Lisa and husband Chris Coffey; two great-grandchildren, Tori Sills and Jantzen Sills; brother, Kenneth and wife Betty Lane of Kansas City, MO.; and sister, Sarah and husband Glen Elson of Ash Grove, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday, August 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Rose Hill Baptist Church, north of Willard, MO with Rev. Scott Killingsworth officiating with interment following in Rose Hill Cemetery. Under the care and direction of Wilson Brim Daniel Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.

The family will receive friends on Monday morning in the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
