Fellers, Loyd Stanley, age 93, died Saturday, November 3, 2012, World War II Veteran, beloved father, brother, husband, friends and fisherman has gone to be with the "fisher's of men" for eternity. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells - Psalms 46:4. He served his country during World War II in Germany and France. He was born on January 18, 1919 in Lebo, Kan., the son of Oswald and Julia Fellers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Fellers; brother, Howard Fellers; sister, Nadine Hoffman; brother, Pete Fellers.
Loyd is survived by his sisters, Audrey Rader, Greeneville, Tenn., and Zola Hoffman, Wichita; mother of his children, Mary V. (Cole) Sanders, Belle Plaine; children, Robert (Dianne) Fellers, June Burnett (Raymond) Dombaugh, Jane (Loren) Cannefax, and Marylin (Daniel) Brooks; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Our memories of his earthly life will live in our hearts as we recall the time we have been allowed to share. His wit and sweet smile will be embedded in the hearts of those who loved him.
Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, int White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 5234 W. Highway EE, Springfield, MO 65802.
