James "Harold" King

James Harold King was born August 28, 1926 in Philipsburg MO and passed from this life Feb. 23, in Nixa, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Jewel, and his sister, Pauline Mizer. He is survived by his wife Mary, of 64 years, a son, Jeff, a daughter, Robin Paulson and husband Dan, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by beloved sister Mary Northcutt.

Harold was proud of his many years in the grocery business, starting from youth in his father's general store. He had a long and successful career with Sysco Foods, where he made a difference in lives of his customers.

Harold was baptized into the Church of Christ at age 18 and remained a faithful active member until his passing.

He was a faithful husband, father, and provider; he was a beloved friend to many who will be missed by all.

Services will be Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with visitation 1 hour prior.
