Ruth White, age 90, of Rogersville, Mo., passed away in Ozark Riverview Manor on Tuesday, April 22, 2014.
Ruth was born in Greene County, May 8, 1923. Most of her life was spent at their home on J Highway. She was a homemaker, employee of Logan Elementary Cafeteria and an Avon saleslady. Ruth (Rice) and George R. White were united in marriage on May 8, 1946.
She was preceded in death br her husband, George Raymond White; by her parents, John and Bessie (Foster) Rice; a brother, Vernon; a sister, Helen; and a grandson, Eric Honeycutt.
She is survived by her son, David and wife Janice; daughters: Kathy McMurtrey and friend Mike Murphy, Karen and husband Glen Honeycutt; six grandchildren: Amy Battles, Brian White, Nathan Honeycutt, Sara Couts, Justin Miller, Kayla Hayes; ten great-grandchildren: Brianne and Abigail Holderby, Wyatt and Brady Honeycutt, Parker and Mackenzie Couts, Cooper and Sophie Miller, Liam and Corbin Hayes: and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held April 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with Minister Nathan Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow in Galloway Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
