Paul Alan Mott died August 2, 2014 at the age of 86, after an extended illness. The funeral will be at First Baptist Church, Bolivar, Missouri, on August 5, 2014, at 2 pm. The family will receive visitors from 6 pm to 8 pm on August 4, 2014 at Butler Funeral Home, Bolivar.
Paul was born on April 11, 1928, in Manes, Missouri to Fred H. and Dorothy Cantrell Mott. He graduated from Mountain Grove High School in Mountain Grove, Missouri in 1946 and from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Class of 1950. He married Martha Carolyn Mustain on June 9, 1950 and was married to her for 64 years.
Mr. Mott was a senior partner in Kennedy and Coe, Certified Public Accountants, Salina, Kansas, a three-state regional firm, where he was partner-in-charge of the Auditing Division.
Paul was a member of First Baptist Church, Bolivar, Missouri.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Fred H. and Dorothy E. Mott; three brothers and three sisters; grandchildren, Christopher Michael Warren and Timothy David Warren; and great-grandchildren, Halley Rae Livers and Porter Hemingway Livers.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Mott; his daughter, Paula Hemingway and husband, Mark, of Denton, Texas, Teresa Kendall and husband, Ray of Springfield, Missouri, Dana Warren and husband, Bill, of Wichita, Kansas, and Anita Robidou and husband, Robert, of Trophy Club, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; his sister, Pauline Cummins of Marthasville, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
