Larry Lee DeLozier, 67, of Springfield, MO, passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 in his home after his courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 13, 1944 in Clinton, MO. Larry enjoyed fishing, watching baseball and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a long-time member of Glidewell Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Iva DeLozier; mother-in-law Maye Hagler; and step-daughter Barbara Ball.
Larry is survived by his wife Wanda; daughter Sherri DeLozier Carter, her husband Milo, and grandson, Eli of Ozark MO; son Chris DeLozier of Sarasota FL; step-son Mike Ball and wife Elizabeth of Springfield MO; grandchildren Marshall Davidson and Caleb Norris of Marionville, MO and Brett and Brenna Ford, of Aurora, MO; brother Wayne and wife Barbara of Butler, MO; nephew Eugene DeLozier and wife Diane and nephew Brian DeLozier and wife Shannie, and their families of Butler, MO; father-in-law Donald Hagler of Springfield; sister-in-law Connie Hagler and family of Aurora, MO; brother-in-law Donnie Hagler and family of Crane, MO; and a host of friends and family. A special thank you to John and Dulcia Gann of Springfield, MO, for all of your help when it was needed the most.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Williams Funeral Home, Marionville, MO. Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 15, 10 a.m. in Williams Funeral Home. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery, Marionville, MO.
