A Celebration of Life for Gary B. Sapp, 74, of Hollister will be held on Friday, April 12 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Charlie's Steak, Ribs & Ale, 3009 W. Highway 76 in Branson, Mo. Gary passed away Sunday morning, April 7 at his home. Arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.
Gary Buford Sapp was born May 6, 1938 in Ashland, Mo. He was the son of Charles and Marguerite (Basinger) Sapp. Gary was a wholesale and retail automobile dealer. He married Edith Louise Wilsey on June 14, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had celebrated forty-one years together last summer. Gary and Edith had lived in many places during his lifetime. During the last few years, they had enjoyed traveling and seeing the country in their RV. Gary moved to Hollister from Dardanelle, Arkansas. He attended the Woodland Hills Church in Branson.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Marguerite Sapp and one step-daughter Shirley Holzhauer.
Gary is survived by his loving wife Edith of the home; two children Terry Sapp and wife Katie of Springfield, MO; Tracy Snodgrass and husband Ken of London, England; two step-sons Douglas Garza and wife Mary of Columbia, MO and Brad Workman of Hollister, MO; one sister and her husband Carolyn and Norris Allee of Houston, TX; six grandchildren Kristen, Tyler, Alex, Laura, Hunter and Cameron; and one great granddaughter, GG.
