Robert McCuen Robbins

Robert McCuen Robbins was born September 20, 1936 in Lakeland, Florida. His parents were John Alfred Robbins and Julia Tomkies Robbins. Robert entered into rest on July 12, 2013 in Kirbyville, Missouri at the age of 76 years, seven months and twenty-two days.

Robert married Carolyn Ann Barizon on November 11, 1968 in Reno, Nevada. They had celebrated forty-four years together this past winter. Robert worked in the restaurant field in California until his retirement. He and Carolyn then moved to Taney County in 1982 from Fremont, California. He owned and operated the Country Crates by DoDa in Branson, MO, which was an arts and crafts business for many years. They also attended many craft shows over the region.

Robert received his BA from the Midwest College of Theology and went on to receive his Doctorate of Theology from the St. Martin's College and Seminary, on June 15, 2013. He was a faithful follower of his Lord and a great witness. Bob was a member of the Hilltop Church of God, Kirbyville, Mo.

Robert's hobbies were gardening and woodworking. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and five siblings, Jim, Marion, Jeanette, Wade Jr., and Louise. .

Robert is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Robbins; four children Robert McCuen Robbins, Jr., and wife Renee; Robert L. Robbins "Bob"; Catherine Dills and husband Jerry; Deborah Moore and husband Mark; six grandchildren Tommy, Maggie, Allison, Kathryn, Kyle and Bobby; one great granddaughter, Kylie; and one brother Fred Robbins and his wife Fran.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Hilltop Church of God, Kirbyville with Rev. Bobby Fausett officiating. Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.
