Ruby K. Case, 93, of Fort Myers, FL died on January 5, 2013 at her home under the care of Hope Hospice. She was born on June 4, 1919 in High Point, NC, a child of Frank and Essie (Morgan) Keller. A resident of Fort Myers since 1972, Ruby was an elementary school teacher for over 32 years, prior to her retirement she taught for the Lee County School District in elementary schools in Cape Coral; she had previously taught in High Point, NC. She was a very active member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Fort Myers and was active in starting the Alzheimer's Group in Fort Myers. Wife of the late Thomas D. Case Sr. who died in 1994, she was predeceased by her daughter, Cathy J. Case in 1999. She is survived by her children, Thomas D. (Lynda) Case Jr. of Fort Myers and Penny J. "PJ" Case of Fort Myers, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 9065 Ligon Court, Fort Myers, FL 33908. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the above named church. Friends may sign the guest book at www.horizonfunerals.com.

Tom, my prayers are with you and your family. I taught school with your mother at cape elementary. I was the art art teacher. I have very fond memories of Ruby. She was always very kind, sweet, helpful to everyone. She also had a great sence of humor. Chad Lyons
