Dear Curtis family:
I am so sorry to hear about Curt. My mom and dad were very good friends to them, and then also I began to love them as well. I will never forget them.
I am sorry that I can not come to Fl. for the service. I know that now the Romano's and the Curtis's are all up in heaven having a drink together

When we moved in across the street from Curt and Rose we quickly became friends, despite our great age difference:) These quirky people whose home was decorated in bright orange and yellow with home-built furniture taught us lots about the Florida lifestyle... gardening, sharing tools and recipes, lots of family life stories with laughter. Most of all they taught us about what it takes to make a good marriage great. We love you and will miss you very much. But you are now having a great reunion with your beloved Rosie... "AND SO FORTH" .
Semper Fi, Col. Curtis!

Rose and Curt were good friends to Sheila & I for the few years we were neighbors. They made us feel welcome in their home. I have missed my morning driveway talks with him since we moved.

Karen & Jennie, I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad (and your Mom a few years earlier). They were wonderful people and nobody could ask for better parents role models. My deepest sympathies to you and your families.
