Eleanore Augusta Klingenmeyer

Eleanore A Klingenmeyer (94), of Fort Myers, left this earth to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 6. She was born on March 6, 1918 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Otto and Lena Zimmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry, infant daughter Faith and sister Lucy. Eleanore moved to Fort Myers in 1985. She loved playing Scrabble, reading and doing needlework. She was a faithful member of Crown of Life Lutheran church since moving to Florida and enjoyed bible studies with her Ruby sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Andre (Laurie) Klingenmeyer of Minnesota and David (Cheryl) Klingenmeyer of Fort Myers, beloved grandson Justin Klingenmeyer of Fort Myers, sister Gertrude Georg of Wisconsin, brother-in-law Sam Garbo of Fort Myers, nieces and nephews. Visitation and service will be on Monday February 11 at Crown of Life Lutheran church, 5820 Daniels Parkway, Fort Myers. Visitation 3:00-5:00pm, service at 5:00pm and dinner to follow. Memorial contributions to Crown of Life Lutheran church. Interment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
