George Clement Fox (84) of Cape Coral, FL. passed away February 23, 2013 at Signature Healthcare @ College Park, in Fort Myers, FL. He was born May 28, 1928 in Rock Island, IL to the late Lee & Bertha (Anderegg) Fox.

He graduated from New Cumberland & attended Newport High School in PA 1946.

He is survived by his wife of 56 yrs. Shirley L. (Dubbs) Fox of Cape Coral, FL, his brother Frederick A. Fox (Kaye) of Chambersburg, PA daughters, Jane L. Walker (Barry) of PA, Nannette L. Stark of Charlotte, NC, Georgia H. Small (Steve) of Lancaster, SC, sons William C. Fox (Pat) of Dover, PA, George D. Fox of Travelers Rest, SC, James B. Fox of PA, daughter Susan E. Arnold (Jerry) Maiden, NC, son John R. Fox of Cape Coral, FL daughter Krista M. Edwards of Cape Coral, FL and son Samuel G. Fox of Traverlers Rest, SC, and 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren & 2 great great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Jane J. (Bowman) Fox, his parents, his brothers Lee, Robert and Richard Fox, sister Katherine Gaumer, daughters Helen L. and Elizabeth A. and his son Michael C. Fox.

He owned & operated Fox Beeline for 27 yrs. He founded Fox Pools in 1957 with the X-frame patent, which is why it was called the strongest name in pools. He had four other patents for the pool features & equipment. He also started Pool Product Inc. which later merged with Fox Pools. He retired from his position as CEO of Fox Pool Inc. & proprietor of Fox Beeline in the mid 70's. He moved to Cape Coral, Florida in 1968 after the sudden death of his daughter Helen. In his retirement he enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling & camping & the sunsets at his home.

He will be sadly missed by his wife and family.

Following cremation he will be buried in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in Pennsylvania. There will be a memorial service at the discretion of the family.
