MARION M. HOUSE

Marion Miller House, 82, passed away April 29, 2013. She was born on February 7, 1931 in Groveland, Florida to the late Charles and Freda (Tomlinson) Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death last December by her husband Morgan House who was a former Police Chief of Fort Myers.
Mrs. House moved to Fort Myers in 1947 from Tampa. She graduated from Fort Myers Senior High School in 1949, where she was a member of National Honor Society, Glee Club, Photography Club, Yearbook Staff, Spanish Club and she was a candidate for Pan Am Queen. She left Lee County in 2001 to live in Winter Park, Florida. She had been a member of the Fort Myers Community Club, Jasmine Garden Club and the Inner Wheel Club of Fort Myers. She also served as The President of The Fort Myers Lee County Garden Council. Earlier she served on the board of directors of ACT (Abuse Counseling and Treatment Center).
Marion loved Fort Myers and all of her wonderful friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Michael House of Los Angeles, California; Donna Fritcher and her husband Howard of Fort Myers, Florida; David House and his wife Debbie of Winter Park, Florida and Sissy Mason and her husband Daran of Mobile, Alabama; grandchildren, Kelly, Jarret, Kimberly, Alex, Austin, Christopher, Patrick, Jillian, Morgan and Jennings; great grandchildren, Brandon, Ethan, Ty and Ashleigh.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral will begin at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
