Grandpa , You have been called Son, Husband, Dad, Grandpa and many other things we won’t mention. Grandpa you have been an inspiration to me since I can remember, I thought you were the smartest man, you new everything, you could build anything and you had all the tools. Our biggest love together is golf, I loved playing and watching golf with you, those were special times together, I will cherish them for the rest of my life. I feel I received your great golf genes from you. I hope I play as long as you did. Grandpa you are a great listener and you don’t hesitant to give advice either. You have been and Amazing Man, Son, Husband, Dad, and Grandfather. And most of all you have been a follower of the lord, and now you are with him and grandma and uncle Dean, I still remember that day you told me that you have known the lord since you were 19. WOW. From that day forward, I made it my life goal to know the Lord instead of being just a fan. I am a better man because of your words of wisdom. You are an amazing man, I love you more than words can say.I will miss you.

Howard, A Special Man
By Joanne Grunewald
This is a time to celebrate the life of this
special man the Lord gave us in 1919
on the first day of December
A special man for us all to
love and cherish and to
always remember
For this man we have known
and loved all our lives from
so long ago
Who touched so many people
with an easy kind of flow
His journey had some ups and
downs along his path in life
He always wanted to do the right
things for his four boys
and for his devoted wife
He always showed respect
and honor
No matter what he set out
to conquer
As a young man he played
baseball with great skill
And won championships at will
Served his country so honorably
Was tops in his field of gunnery
Golfing was a game of passion
Swung a club with skill and
expert fashion
Started a brand new career
when he was fifty-two
Made a great name for himself,
as we all knew he would do
Bringing laughter to many of his
friends and family
Taking each day as it comes
and always said…..
“What will be will be”
Strong beliefs, ideals and
integrity
Is what this man was made of,
you see
So let’s all pray and celebrate
the life of an honorable man
Don’t be sad for he is at peace
without any pain
and feeling so grand
We love you,
Your Family
