Albert William Greenaway was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 12, 1925 to Albert and Elizabeth (Whiteford) Greenaway. Al served during World War II as a B-17 top turret gunner with the 817 Bombardment Squadron. After 50 missions he returned home and graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He flew as a Captain with United Airlines, married Estelle Greenaway and made a home in North Fort Myers Florida and Erie Pa. Al and Estelle have 6 children, Terry (Ed) Larson of Mechanicsburg, OH; William Greenaway (deceased); Lynn Regelin of Tigard, OR; Thomas Steinbaugh of Vancouver, WA; Mark Steinbaugh of Vancouver, WA; and Gregory Steinbaugh of North Reading MA as well as 9 grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 2pm on Friday February 28 at National Cremation in North Fort Myers Florida. Memorials can be made to Hope Hospice in Cape Coral Florida or a .
