Anthony J. Centorino Jr., 75, of Fort Myers, FL died peacefully on August 28, 2012 at Hope Hospice. He was born on November 23, 1936 in Boston, MA, a son of Anthony J. and Serafina M. (Sergi) Centorino Sr.
A resident of Fort Myers for the past 9 years, he previously lived in Braintree, MA where he owned Leo and Walt's Sunoco Service Station for over 20 years, was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Edith C. (Burrier) Centorino, his children, Catherine A. (Centorino) Randell, Anthony J. (Sandra) Centorino III of Cheshire, CT and Christine (Paul) Grigorenko of Forestdale, MA, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his sisters, Mary (Elmer) Barger of Raynham, MA, Theresa (James) Long of West Bridgewater, MA and his brother, Joseph (Christine) Centorino of Marshfield, MA. He was predeceased by his sister Annette (Harold) Weisse.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday September 4, 2012 from 7-9 PM in the Chapel at Affordable Cremations and Horizon Funeral Home, 1605 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, and 9:00 am on Wednesday September 5, 2012 at St. Columbkille Church, 12171 Iona Road, Fort Myers, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.
