The Guest Book is expired.
Born in Connecticut in 1943, Jan later moved to Palm Beach with her family during her teenage years. She never lost her love for the change of seasons and enjoyed hiking in the mountains near her North Georgia cabin. Her career as a nurse allowed many to benefit from her loving and caring personality. Throughout the years she worked for various hospitals, Visiting Nurses and Hospice. She had a kind and gentle spirit. Jan loved her dogs, playing tennis, shopping, driving little sports cars and walking the beach at Sanibel. Her legacy will live on in the lives of her children and grandchildren, as they were her true love in life. She is survived by four children, James Perkins, St. Petersburg, Jed Perkins, Ft. Myers, Jennifer Perkins, Ft. Myers and Jason Perkins, Cape Coral. She also leaves twelve grandchildren and a sister, Leona Havens. Jan was a beautiful, brave and hard working woman, may she be held in God's grace and kept forever in our hearts.
