Josephine T. Berte age 79 died after a long illness on June 5, 2011 in Cape Coral, FL. Born in Washington, D.C. on July 17, 1931, graduated from University of N.C. at Greensboro, worked for Red Cross, Married to John B. Berte M.D. for 56 years of their lives. A member of women's auxillary of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Cape Coral, FL., mother to Joel William Berte who predeceased her in 1993 and currently to 2 living children, Kevin Berte (Maria) and Carol Ann Cruz (Jack) both of CT and 6 grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday June 7, 2011 beginning at 10:00 am in the Chapel of St. Andrew Catholic Church. Cremation and interment will take place at the Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral.
