Ronald D. (Ron) Buck, 63, my love and best friend, died at home on March 20, 2014, of liver cancer.
Ron was born on September 13, 1950 in Cambridge, MA, and lived most of his early life in Belmont, MA. He moved to Florida in 1989. Ron was the owner of Buck Plumbing, Inc. in Fort Myers, FL. He was also a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
Ron is survived by his wife Janet (DiPietro) Buck, his sister Doris Middlekauff, his brother Rae, Jr. (Patricia), and his brother Richard. He also leaves behind 4 children (Ronald, Jr. (Jill) Buck, Allison (John) Moran, Beth (Murat) Erkul, and Stephanie Buck. In addition, he leaves 6 grandchildren (Brendan, Thomas, Jack, Madison, Donovan and Robert), and 6 nieces and nephews (Rae III, Kristen, Rick, Jeff, Jonathan and Meaghan). Ron was preceded in death by his parents Rae and Thelma Buck of Belmont, MA.
On the DiPietro side, Ron leaves a brother-in-law Robert, a sister-in-law Carol (Gordon) Flint, and a sister-in-law Laura (Jack) Brooks. He also leaves 2 nieces Jennifer (Jason) Beerman and Carrie Flint.
To our church family, friends, neighbors and customers - your prayers, calls and letters have been a blessing to the entire Buck family as we navigate this transition. Thank you so much.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Ron's life at Parkway Baptist Church, 6211 Briarcliff Road, Fort Myers on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM. All are welcome. Following the service, there will be a pot luck luncheon in the fellowship hall.
