CHARLES LIONEL CHUTE

Charles Lionel Chute, 84, of Fort Myers, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010. He was born June 28, 1926 in Boston, MA and moved to Fort Myers from Winter Park, FL in 2007. He retired from the United States Navy as a Captain. While in the Navy he was a Tailhook Fighter Pilot. He was an avid golfer, member of the Whiskey Creek Country Club and loved his dog, Calley and grandkids.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Carol Smith (Geordie) of Fort Myers; his granddaughter, Cindy West of West Palm Beach; his grandson, John Caldwell and his companion, Desiree Konian of New York City, NY; his great grandchildren: Savanah West and Tyler West; his sister, Barbara of Springfield, IL and his brother, Donald Chute of Wrentham, MA. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Caroline Louise Chute.
Funeral services will conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
