Judith Anne Bussen, 74, of Estero, FL died peacefully Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Joanne's House at Hope Hospice. Formerly of St. Louis, MO she moved to Naples, FL in 2001 before relocating to Estero in 2005. Judy was born August 12, 1938 in Chicago, IL a daughter of the late Richert E. and Mary Jane (Haughey) Quinn. She worked as a registered nurse for many years and served as administrator for mentally challenged children in St. Louis. Judy was an avid golfer and a member of Wildcat Run Golf and Country Club in Estero. She enjoyed social clubs, traveling and boating. Mrs. Bussen is survived by her brothers, John (Sandy) Quinn of Mundelein, IL, Richert (Carol) Quinn of Greeley, CO, Terrence (Joann) Quinn of Germantown Hills, IL,; sister, Carolyn DeLoof of The Woodlands, TX; step children, Richard W. Bussen III of Sedona, AZ, Curt (Cyndi) Bussen of Springfield, MO, Laura (Tim) Frieberg of Union, MO, Scott (Beth) Bussen of Fort Collins, CO; brother-in-law, David (Diana) Bussen of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Cal Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Bussen; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard W. Bussen Jr. and her brother Kevin Quinn. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at Our Lady of Light Catholic Community, 19680 Cypress View Dr., Ft. Myers, FL 33967. Burial will follow in the church memorial garden. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in her name to the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, 12902 Magnolia Dr., UTC-Found, Tampa. FL 33612 or Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Cir. N., Fort Myers, FL 33908. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home.
