Flora Ruscetta, 93 of Fort Myers, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Gulf Coast Village. Flora resided in Cranston, Rhode Island until 2001 when she and her husband Tom moved to Ft. Myers, Florida. Born in Pico, Italy on December 2, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giuseppina Rastelli. She married Thomas in 1942 and enjoyed 71 years together. Flora faithfully cared for family and friends. A woman of faith and the heart of her family, she shaped their spirituality by her tireless Christian example. With a zest for life, Flora loved to travel, cook, read, play card games, visit the local casinos and spend time with her grandchildren. Through-out her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the hearts of all. Her gift of joy will never be forgotten. Flora is survived by her daughter Barbara (Stephen) of Fort Myers, Florida and her son Thomas (Dawn) of Las Vegas, Nevada. She has four grandchildren Lisa Montgomery of Clermont, Florida; Michael Calabro (Melissa) of Charleston, South Carolina, Mia Rowland (Louis) of Providence, RI; and Tonya Campagnone (Michael) of Johnston, RI, and five great grandchildren, Jackson and Maddison Montgomery, Dominic and Angelo Campagnone and Aila Rowland. A celebration of her life will take place at Iona Episcopal Church in Fort Myers, Florida on Sunday, April 14, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope Hospice at https://donate.hopehcs.org/sslpage.aspx.
