Carmen Auilda Rodriguez Hall, age 79 of Cape Coral, FL. passed away on April 3, 2013. She was born December 24, 1933 in Puerto Rico to Getulio Echeandia and Carmen Perez. Carmen moved to Cape Coral in 1995 coming from Lakewood, NJ. She is a communicant of St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church. She was a member of the Council of Catholic Women, The Red Hats Society and T.O.P.S. Carmen received her high school diploma from Dodge High School in New York City and continued her studies in Secretarial Studies at the Latin Institute Business School. Carmen worked at La Prensa Newspaper before starting her family and worked over 25 years in the business offices of various hospitals.
Carmen enjoyed traveling and was an avid puzzle solver. She enjoyed playing board games and cards and spending time with her family.
Carmen is survived by her husband Kenneth Hall; daughters, Doris (Paul) Vaiana of Westfield, NJ, Judith (James) Golden of Hamilton, NJ; son Ralph Rodriguez of Westfield, NJ; grandchildren, Jennifer (Ian) Becker, Adrienne (Victor) Conti, Paul Vaiana, Amanda Golden, Veronica Golden; Great Grandchildren, Caitlin Becker, Isabella Conti, Victor Conti. Carmen is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Rafael Rodriguez.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 PM on Sunday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Road, Cape Coral. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Monday at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery. Please visit
