Dean Titus Davis Sr., 84, of Fort Myers, FL was in a fatal accident on Sept. 6, 2013 in Almond, NC. A native of Pennsylvania and part time resident of North Carolina, he lived in Lee County for over 50 years.

Mr. Davis was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a ranger and paratrooper. He was a four-time reigning National Athlete of the Year and a two-time Ironman competitor.

He is survived by sons Dean Davis Jr. and wife, Sherry, Todd Davis and wife, Karen, Erik Davis and Adam Davis; eight grandchildren; Rachel Telfor, Tara Davis-Tuffy, Holly Davis, Dean Davis III, Jessica Davis, Jamie Davis, Julianne Davis, and Kaycee Davis; three great-grandchildren; Ryker Fous, Torren Fous, and Ender Ford; and brothers; George F. Davis and wife, Frankie, and Gordan B. Davis.

Dean's life will be celebrated in a Memorial service on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at The Bay Pointe Yacht & Racquet Club, 16150 Bay Pointe Blvd., North Fort Myers, FL 33917. Service will be from 2:00 - 4:00 pm in the Club House.
