Capt. John G. Cibelli, US Navy (Ret)
John "Jack" Cibelli peacefully left this life with his devoted Wife and Family by his side on December 14, 2013.
He leaves to honor "His Life Well Lived", wife Alice "Bunny", son Ryan (Meredith) Cibelli, daughter Kate (Matt) Riley, their Mother Shirley. His Wife's children Kristin and Tommy. His granddaughters Marlowe Cibelli and Isla and June Riley - also sisters Judy McNeil, Mary (Rick) DiFusco, Kathy Bieber and Edith (Ken) Arruda. Many loving nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He was born Sept. 4, 1944 in Washington D.C. to the late Julius and Eileen Cibelli - Grew up in Springvale, ME - 1962 graduate of Sanford High School - 1967 graduate of Northeastern University (ROTC) with a Bachelors Degree in Business.
He attended the Naval Flight School in Pensacola and served as a Naval Aviator, Flying A-4s in Vietnam - Completed 22 years as a Naval Reservist, including Training Commander at Willow Grove - Retired as Captain U.S. Navy.
His business careers were in H R management for Stone & Webster and Boston Edison.
Jack happily retired to SW Florida. He was passionate about Life, Family and Friends. Until we meet again, wishing you fair winds and following seas.
There will be a military service for Captain Cibelli at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale, ME in early August.
