Thomas Allan Schulte

Thomas Allan Schulte passed away on Sunday, February 23rd. Born to Charles and Virginia Schulte in Vandalia, Illinois on August 15th, 1927. Married to Partner-In-Life, Diane D. Schulte in August 1951. Devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and husband, Tom truly loved his family and friends.
Tom served in the US Navy in World War II. He graduated from University of Illinois in 1950, where he was an active member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Tom earned his CPA and practiced accounting both in the Chicago area and in Cape Coral, FL for most of his life. He also enjoyed golf, reading, skiing, gardening and listening to music, Frank Sinatra being a particular favorite.
Tom is survived by his wife Diane, son Richard and his wife Susan, their children Nick (wife Sarah), Sam(wife Kristin) and Sarah (Denver, CO and Chicago, IL); daughters Sue and her children Danny, Megan(husband Paul), and Ellie (Denver, CO and Chicago, IL); and Sally and her husband Ken, their daughters Molly, Katie and Kelly (Niwot, CO). Tom also leaves behind two great grandchildren, Genevieve (Chicago) and Roman (Denver). Tom's brother Bill Schulte resides in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 29th at 2pm. at the New Hope Presbyterian Church in Ft. Myers.
