Lawrence A. "Larry" Razete, 97, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2014 at his home in North Fort Myers, FL.

Larry will be dearly missed by his surviving wife, Clara Razete; sister, Elena Liapis; children Gina Razete (Cathy Groene), Diana Schuyler (Phil), Dr. Warren Hagen (Gloria), Kathleen Gentry, Sheila Hanisch (Ron), Brenda Haskett (John), Margie Peed (Jim); former daughter-in-law, Suzanne Galloway; as well as 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Razete in 1997; as well as a son, Dr. J. Stewart Hagen; his brother John Razete, sisters Teresa Dunnigan and Rose Piccirilli.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Larry served in WWII. He was an entrepreneur who became the Chairman of the Board of Davey Compressor Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, before retiring to Florida in 1989. He lived in Hobe Sound before settling in Fort Myers. Larry was a devout Catholic and attended St. Francis Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 17, 2014, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at the Harvey Engelhardt Funeral Chapel 1600 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers. The funeral service will commence at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel, followed by entombment at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
