Khalid, I knew him so well. When I first met Khalid, him and his wife Latoya was just dating at that time in the Bronx, NY. Khalid knew what he wanted and went after it. Khalid is like a son to me and in my heart. His memory will always live on... Missed very much as a loyaled son, father, friends, brother- in-law, sister- in-law and devoted and Loyal Husband.... To LaToya, Diahann, Charles, and family. I didn't know until yesterday when mom told me about your lose, our lose. Khalid was a wonderful young man, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, family member to others. But also a great friend. I will miss his hugs, his smiles when we talk about the children, and life. LaToya, I pray God gives you the strenth you need for you and the kids. Diahann, I Love you. If you need me let me know. Its hard finding joy in this untimely lose. But God has another one of his best on his side.

I know Khalib is in a better place now and readly to serve our Lord in His need. We will all miss Khalib greatly, but there is such a peace to know that he is now living in full peace and love with our Lord and Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ.
I pray for comfort, peace and strength for all those who mourn the passing of this wonderful person, Khalib. God bless and be with you all in your time of need and always.
I really enjoyed working with Khalib, such a gentleman and pleasure to be around. I miss him already and will miss him always.

Diane, Charles & Latoya, as you all know the members and staff of Youth For Truth Street Ministries loved Khalid. We are forever grateful for all that he did to help and support the ministry. The last time we saw him was @ Gordon's appreciation service. Our drummer was not there and Kenny asked Khalid to fill in; without hesitation he helped us out. We will miss him, and know that you all are in our prayers. If YFT can be of service to you (Latoya) at anytime please do not hesitate to call on us. We love ya!!!

To the family of Khalid.....May God comfort you during this difficult time...What a wonderful fun loving young man, so full of love and life....He cut my son Zack McCray's and nephew Logan Thomas' hair. As far as the boys were concerned....he gave the best haircut around...He would travel to our home or we would travel to his...All times of the day or night, ha!He always had time for the boys and was so excited for their sports accomplishments. The boys looked to him like a mentor....Every occassion I can think of...he expressed his love for his wife Latoya and children...They were his life....He was so proud of them...He always talked of his church and what that meant to him....I could not think of a better person for my boys to be around and look up to. He had his priorities straight....There is no doubt where he is today....God has made him a special angel for his good works here on earth....To the family of Khalid...you are in our thoughts and prayers....God Bless you!

I watched Khalid grow from a little boy running around bothering me all the time to a grown, saved, santified, holy ghost filled Man of God. I Love Khalid like my own son and Dian you know how deep my love flows for you and all of your children. As always I will be there like I always have been and always will be. LaToya when Khalid brought you down he said to me. I really Love her Tonya and I replied well you really ought to keep her then. He said you know, I plan on it. I will be there for you LaToya and Dian so we can shout, Dance, and praise God. Because one thing I know for sure!! Khalid is sitting back drinking from the christian water wearing his Golden Crown.

Family and friends, I was devastated to see that the accident victim was someone that I knew. I am very saddened to know of his lost. He had just recently stopped by my house to simply say hi. That's how Khalid was. I thank the Lord for having him as a dear friend, I will cherish his memory. Nothing will ever be able to replace that smile, or his friendly demeanor. For the Trotman's - my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I knew Khalid for a short time the beginning of this year, and he left an amazing impression on me. He was so proud of his family, his wife and children, not a time went by that he didn't talk about something involving them. I really don't know what to say except that I am going to miss my brother. I really can't say anything bad about Khalid, yeah he got on my nerves but that was my little brother.
