John Foster Obituary

John Robertson Foster

John Robertson Foster, 78, of Juniper Cliff Road, Brookneal, passed away Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at his home. He was the husband of Sandra Dennis Foster.

Mr. Foster was born in Norman, Okla., son of the late T. Jack Foster and Gladys Hutchison Foster. He was an Air Force veteran, a 32nd Degree Mason and a retired land developer.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, John R. Foster Jr., of San Mateo Calif.; one daughter, Allison F. Simons, of Hillsboro, Calif.; one stepson, Martin D. Owen, of Callaway; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal, is assisting the family.
