Geraldine Braxton Obituary
Mrs. Geraldine Braxton, 70, of Brookneal, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Braxton; her daughters, Sandra Braxton, Karen Braxton and Wanda Randolph (O. B.); one stepson, Joseph Walker; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Agnes Hubbard (Stuart), of Washington, D.C., Celia Broggin (Warren), of Lynchburg, and Veronica Harrod (Clarence), of Maryland; sisters-in-law, Deloris Ashford, of Arizona, and Dorothy Braxton, of Red House; brothers-in-law, Carroll Braxton, of Florida, and Tony Braxton (Esther), of Red House; her god-daughter, Laverne Canada (Wesley), of Brookneal; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at the Greenspring Baptist Church in Brookneal with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, Sept. 8, 2010, at the chapel of Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Brookneal.

Although im not not there in physical being please know that i am there for u my dear family. Aunt Geraldine u will be greatly missed. Karo, Wanda and Aunt Sandra i love yall. Please be strong, u know auntie wouldnt want it any other way.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I always remember how good Geraldine was to me when I visited with her daughter when we were teenagers. She always cooked such good meals for us.
