Buddy Elkins Obituary

Buddy Lee Elkins

Buddy Lee Elkins, 42, of Bedford, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born July 22, 1968, a son of Mary Wilson of Bedford and the late Robert Ellis Elkins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Elkins.

He is survived by his daughter, Sissy Elkins; a son, Travis Elkins; two brothers, Carson Elkins and Douglas Wayne Elkins; four sisters, Becky Wilson, Gail Lee, Sheila Dawson and Shirley Elkins; and several nieces and nephews, including nephew, Richard Elkins.

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at Elkins Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at Burch-Messier Funeral Home, 317 W. Main St., Bedford, (540) 586-7360.
