Myrtle Hudson Obituary

Myrtle Nuckles Hudson Myrtle Nuckles Hudson, 95, of Lynchburg went to be with the Lord Monday, September 12, 2011. She was the wife of the late Charles Edward Hudson. Born February 9, 1916 in Greenlie, Virginia she was a daughter of the late John Douglas and Mary Frances Campbell Nuckles. She retired from Lynchburg General Hospital and was a loving and faithful member of Clearview Baptist Church. Mrs. Hudson is survived by the last of her 12 brothers and sisters,Ruby N. Coleman and her husband Harold of Rustburg; step-children Frank S. Hudson and wife, Kitty of Sewickley, Pa., Herman L. Hudson and wife, Carolyn of N.C., step-daughter-in-law Darey Hudson of Lynchburg, Helen H. Carson and husband, Larry also of Lynchburg, Linda Fielder and husband, Mark of Rustburg. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011 in Whitten Timberlake Chapel by the Rev. Wayne Greene. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7-8:00 p.m. The family request memorial contributions be made to Clearview Baptist Church. Please accept my deepest sympathy at the passing of Myrtle. I pray God will comfort and keep all of you during this most sorrowful time. I have such nice memories of Myrtle. I loved her. Mama loved her too. Please take care and God Bless all of you.
