Select members of the Colonial Officials association worked a playoff game in Southwest Va In memory of Dick instead of being brave enough to wear short sleeve shirts in the snow WE had a Blank arm band on the right arm. any of us have fond memories of his work and attitude toward others. We all will miss him too.Throughout the next year of football please notice any Right handed arm bands in memory of him.

Betty, I am so sorry to hear about Dick. I visited at Hyland Heights last Sunday, the 7th., for the first time since we moved to N.C. 25 years ago. I have thought of your family so many times over the years. You will be in my prayers.

I am sorry for your loss. Dick was one of the guys in stiped shirts that I loved seeing on Friday nights when I was coaching football. I will truly miss him.

Betty,
I worked with you and Dick for a while through Home Instead and I wanted to let you know that God blessed you with this man for 58 years and you can rest in the assurance that you will have eternity with him. You both were so wonderful to me and I will always remember you. God gives us strength in times like these and I know that you will cling to your faith and to the one who gives life and hope. I will have you on my mind and in my prayers. Dick's smile is even more radiant now and it won't be long until we see him again. Rest in God's love and know that you are sheltered from every storm. God bless and keep you Betty, as well as the rest of your family.
