Fred and I (Sandra) cannot begin to express how very much we will miss our buddy Johnny. Fred has known John since he was thirteen years old. They shared many good times together - him, John, and Butch Cherry. I have known John for almost 44 years and I can honestly say I never saw Johnny down - he was always upbeat, always laughing, and always enjoying life. We will miss him. Our prayers go out to Dee and his kids and all those others that loved Johnny as we did. May God be with the family as they learn to live without him and dwell on all the good memories he gave to them.
Love,
Fred & Sandra McConnell

Many memories came back of high school days with Johnny, Chrissy, Susan Nixon, Butch Cherry, Jody and who knows who else of us trotting to the movies, driving "Shoneys", dating; it's strange remembering how tight we all were in those days. How lucky we all were to have so many friends. Didn't stay connected through the years like so many of you, but Johnny was a great guy and obviously changed only for the best. Our sympathies go out to you and your entire family.

My thoughts & prayers are with you all. May the memories you have of John bring you peace in time. He was a wonderful man who lived life to the fullest. May we all strive to be more like John & hold our family & friends close in our hearts.
