Jean Hamlet

Jean Hudson Hamlet Jean Hudson Hamlet, 81, of Lynchburg died January 9, 2012 in Herndon, VA. Born December 30, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Robert Jackson Hudson and Maggie Cheatham Hudson of Lynchburg. She was the wife of the late Edward (Pete) A. Hamlet Jr., for 50-years. Her brother, a decorated World War II veteran, Hilton Cheatham Hudson also proceeded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Edward Kirk Hamlet of Huntsville, AL and William Kevin Hamlet and a granddaughter, Avery Rose Hamlet both of Herndon, VA; and a brother-in-law, Father Ralph Macon Hamlet of Charlottesville, VA; and many very close friends who were sorely missed in her absence from Lynchburg. She was an avid lover of animals, flowers and music.
