Dear Elaine, Don & Cheryl, and all of Al's family. I was so saddened to hear the news of Al's death. I was out of town, otherwise I would have come to the visitation. I worked with Al for many years in the Department of Education -- he was so conscientious in his job as AV technician. He helped make many continuing education videos for the hospital and nursing staff,... a true pioneer in those ventures! Those years together forged a special place in my heart for both Al and Elaine; I have many memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Elaine and Family,

Al was one of the engineering crew who helped me get started when I went to work at WLVA in 1967. I respected and liked him a lot, and share your sense of loss. I hope you can find some solace in the beautiful song, "Peace in the Valley", where we'll be with him again someday.

Sincerely,
Dave Overstreet
