I WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO ROBERT'S FAMILY. ROBERT AND I WENT INTO BASIC TRAINING TOGETHER IN JULY, 1962 AT FT. JACKSON, S. C. I HAD NOT SEEN ROBERT UNTIL A FEW MONTHS AGO AT WHITES UMC AND SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT ROBERT WAS IN THE KITCHEN. I WENT AND TALKED WITH HIM FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 48 YEARS. WE WERE PRETTY CLOSE IN BASIC. I AM SO SORRY FOR OUR LOSS.

Bob took me "under his wing" years ago when I first began my career at UPS. He was always kind to me and was a fun person to be around. For the most part he worked downtown and was the King of Main street. He was a nice guy and will be missed by all who knew him.
