Shirley Rose Branham Brannen

Shirley Rose Branham Brannen, 64, of Amherst, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at Fairmont Crossing. Shirley was born Jan. 10, 1946, in Amherst, a daughter of the late Cora Hamilton Branham and the late Lucian Branham.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Florence Duff and her husband, Kent, of Amherst, and Rose Kerri Payne, of Canada; her son, James Tolley, of Maryland; her grandchildren, Robert Duff, Tabitha Burks and her husband, Danny, and Cody Duff, all of Amherst; her great-grandson, Coy Burks, of Amherst; her brother, Branch Branham, of Big Island; and her sister, Juanita Wright, of Waynesboro.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is predeceased by her son, Michael Eugene Tolley; her daughter, Cora Edna Buchanan; her sister, Cora Rice; and her brothers, Gene Branham, Andrew H. Branham and Delmar L. Branham.

The family will hold a private memorial service.

Memorial contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to the Cancer Care Fund Foundation, 1901 Atherholt Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
