ROY WAYNE Obituary



Roy Wayne

Mr. Roy Wayne of 183 Riverview Road, Madison Heights, departed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was the husband of Mrs. Sandra L. Wayne.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Michelle Wayne Anthony (Sean) and Roy Lamont Wayne and one step-son Kevin S. Lewis, two devoted aunts Mary E. Wayne and Thelma J. Wayne, a loving Father-in-law Deacon Joseph E. Davis, one brother-in-law Scott E. Brice (Ronnie) of Boston, MA, three sisters-in-law Dianne G. Brice of Lynchburg, Janet Moody and Alison Bayne (Pete), both of Philadelphia, PA, three grandsons Derrick L. Lewis, Jamari and Bralyn Anthony and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday Nov. 19, 2010, at Scottzion Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Lee officiating and the Rev. Russell Gary Lee as the eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery. His remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. The family is receiving friends at 183 Riverview Road. The cortege will assemble at the church.
