Albert Fields Obituary

Albert O. Fields

Albert O. Fields departed this life Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at the VA Medical Center in Salem. He was born Sept. 5, 1931, to the late Willie and Susie King.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Wright, and his sister, Julia Crawley.

He is survived by a daughter, Annie "Sue" Morris, of Lynchburg; three grandchildren; one brother, Herman Fields, of Detroit, Mich.; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at Community Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Johnson Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Baptist Cemetery. Military Rites will be provided by American Legion Post 16. The family is receiving friends at 2930 Langhorne Road. The cortege will assemble at the funeral home.
