Anna Greene Robinson Brice

Anna Greene Robinson Brice, 90, peacefully departed this life Friday, Oct. 22, 2010. She was born Jan. 4, 1920, to the late John Greene Robinson and Gertrude Willie Hunter Robinson. She was the wife of the late George W.

Brice Sr. for 55 years. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Tryphena, brothers, Oliver, Horace and Fontaine, and a granddaughter, Denise Brice Dale.

Anna graduated from Campbell County Training School in Rustburg. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, where she served as an usher, member of the senior choir, and treasurer of the Sunday school.

She leaves to cherish her memory three devoted sons, George Jr. (Dorothy), DuBois (Patricia) and Perry; two devoted daughters, Bonnie and Phyllis, of Lynchburg; seven grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank all the special caregivers.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Bethany Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gregory Dowell officiating, and the Rev. George Brice Jr. as eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Her remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
