Aurelia Morgan Obituary
Aurelia Morgan departed this life Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Avante. She was born Sept. 3, 1904, to the late Frances and Henry Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William McKinley Morgan and three sons, Wendell P. Morgan, Aurthur L. Morgan and Malcholm J. Morgan.
Aurelia is survived by one son, William Owen Morgan (Ruby); daughter-in-law, Ernestine Morgan; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at Rivermont Baptist Church, with the Rev. Shawn Womack officiating. Interment will be in the Rose Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Her remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. The family is receiving friends and the cortege will assemble at 1325 Gilmore Circle.
