TO THE HUDSON/WILSON FAMILIES:
It was a blessing to have been friends with Jackie for over 25 years. I met Jackie while employed at Hills Department Store. During our friendship while in Lynchburg and Roanoke, Virginia Jackie was a precious jewel. She always had a smile and a encouraging word to let you know she loved the Lord, family and friends. Jackie was full of love and laughter. She always told me when leaving/visiting her to tell my family she loved them and she shared the many long talks about the good times at work, church and home. I will miss the visits and telephone calls but I will never miss the face of Jackie who taught me to forgive and live everyday sharing blessings of love. Jackie was a loyal friend, and God healed her. To the family and friends hold on to the cherished memories of Jackie, Jackie is at peace with God. Love, Lisha Snead Horsley

Yes Jackie did share some tales about working at Hills Plaza. I could add to hers about the DMV. We probably had some of the same customers.

I have the class photo with Jackie front and center. I can always look and see my friend smiling.

Respectfully:

Aunt Jackie -- an optimistic spirit, a bright outlook on life, a soul of an angel. She deserves all the gifts that wait for her in heaven.

I am only one of many that smile when I think of her. I will always remember how much she loved her great nieces and nephews, her stories about the old days at Hills Department Store :), and sharing memories of the yellow Pinto that seemed to outlast them all.

Aunt Jackie was a good person, may I always remember her in spirit, and may she rest in peace.

Love,
Toi

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know that are happy.

The greatest compliment to someone who has passed is to live your life and keep their memory alive. We’ll remember you always.
Love,
Falishia, Jason and Simone Jordan

Jackie was such a sweet heart and we all loved her. I will miss her coming to the office and chatting with me. She always wanted to know if I had anything sweet to eat. She was a precious lady and was loved by all. May she rest in peace in God's hands.
