Rev. Jesse Mack

Jesse Mack was born Feb. 5, 1938, to the late Lula and Thomas Mack and departed this life Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, in Ahoskie, N.C.

Preceding him in death were his sister, Elsie, and brothers, Thomas (Quartro), Leroy and Phillip (P.J.).

He is survived by three children, Beverly Smith, Jesse Mack Jr. and Jessica Loving; two sisters, Berda Mack and Emma Wortham, and foster sister, Reo James; one brother-in-law, Willie Wortham; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends, especially his Chambersville Family.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at the Wingfield Baptist Church. Public viewing will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the church. Services entrusted to the Franklin-Hutcherson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl B. Hutcherson as eulogist and Pastor Stacy Younger officiating. Military Rites by American Legion Post #16. Interment will be in the Baptist Cemetery.
