Chaffin-Campbell

Kathy Lee Chaffin-Campbell, 70, of 100 Kent Circle, Hurt died Monday, September 27, 2010 at her home. She was married to the late Robert Larry Campbell.

She was born June 25, 1940 in St. Louis, MO, a daughter of the late James Ruben Farris and Ellise Lee Farris. She was a member of Lane Memorial United Methodist and a reservations coordinator with Potomac Party Cruises.

She is survived by one son, James Lee Chaffin of Hurt; one daughter, Lyndia Stewart and her husband Jeffery of Hurt; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Lane Memorial United Methodist Church, Altavista by the Rev. Rick Woodall.

The family will receive friends at the residence.

The family suggests that those wishing to make memorials consider Lane Memorial United Methodist Church, 1201 Bedford Ave., Altavista, VA 24517.
