Marjorie Sylva Taylor

Deaconess Marjorie Sylva Taylor, of Rustburg, passed from labor to reward on Monday, Sept. 13, 2010. She was born June 2, 1922, in Trinidad, West Indies, to the late Charles Sylva and Ethel Green Sylva. She was the wife of the late James Taylor.

Deaconess Taylor joined First St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church around 1981 and became a faithful and loyal member.

She leaves to mourn a host of loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, at First St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Jack Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family is receiving friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. The cortege will assemble at 2502 Rock Road, Rustburg.
