Percy White Obituary
Percy R. White "Rip" departed this life Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at his residence at 114 Winston St., Greensboro, N.C. He was born Jan. 14, 1953, to Louise R. Abrams.
Percy is survived by two children, La'Tashe Walker, of Lynchburg, and Chebella Moore, of Burlington, N.C.; three grandchildren, Simeon, Zyon and Chacelon; two sisters, Nancy A. Hamlet and Sabrina L. Davis, both of Lynchburg; two brothers, Larry O. Abrams (Donna), of Forest, and Gregory L. Abrams, of Lynchburg; best friend, Jake Whitted, of Lynchburg; special friend, Wayne Richardson, of Greensboro, N.C.; a devoted niece, Derwina L. Andrews (Clyde), of Lynchburg; and a host of nieces, nephews and loyal friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Community Funeral Home, with the Rev. Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Baptist Cemetery on Wiggington Road. The family is receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at Community Funeral Home. The cortege will assemble at the funeral home. Condolences may be
