REBECCA BERRY Obituary

Rebecca Humbles Berry

Rebecca Humbles Berry, 83, of Iowa Drive, Evington, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, in the Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Milton Andrew Berry.

Born in Appomattox County, on Dec. 29, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Willie Johnson Humbles. Mrs. Berry was a member of Mount Airy Baptist Church and a longtime waitress at Maude's Restaurant.

She is survived by her son, Kevin R. Berry and his wife, Kandel, of Appomattox; her daughter, Patricia Cox, of Evington; five grandchildren; Melissa Morgan and husband, Tyrone, Tennille Callands and husband, Chris, Calvin Cox Jr., Khrisna Cox, and Katonya Cox and three great-grandchildren, Kia Liggon, Shawnice Morgan, Tevin Morgan.

A funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at Robinson Funeral Home officiated the Rev. Dr. Willie Green. Burial will follow in the Humbles Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, Nov. 22, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
