Spencer Clark Obituary

Spencer Harrison Clark

Spencer, 42, died at his home in Lakewood, Colo., on Sept. 15, 2010.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marilee, and precious daughter, Isabella; his parents, Dr. Joe and Elinor Ann Clark, of Lynchburg; his brother and sister-in-law, Evan and Theda Clark, and stepson, Josh, of Winchester.

Spencer graduated from E.C. Glass High School and the University of Colorado Business School. For the past 15 years, Spencer has dedicated his time to Dynamic Solutions Incorporated in both domestic and international sales management. His interest in business was sparked by Junior Achievement at Glass. He spoke several languages, a love also encouraged by his teachers. Spencer had an easy smile, and he loved skiing on snow and water, flying his plane and fly fishing, all crafts he enjoyed teaching others.

A memorial service was held at Bethany Luthern Church in Cherry Creek, Colo., on Sept. 20, 2010. A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at Westminster Canterbury in the Hume Room.

Gifts in Spencer's memory may be given to The Family Tree Organization, 3805 Marshall St., Wheatridge, CO 80033.

I went to Brookville High School and I was able to get to know Spencer briefly through a friendship I had with Evan and their neighbor, Carter, in the approximate timeframe of 1985-87. I remember the whole Clark family as warm and gracious and I wish you all the best during this difficult time.

I am so saddened to here the loss of a good friend. I have so many fond memories with Spencer from a heartfelt family trip to an Ohio State Football Game to skiing and playing together in Colorado. His spirit is as large as his smile! God Bless.

Very sorry to hear the news about Spencer. He and i went to school together and have fond memories of him dating back to Paul Munroe football days. I remember him as a person who was very bright and had a great sense of humor about him. I have no doubt he will be missed.
