Wendy Douglas Obituary
Wendy Lynn Douglas, 40, departed this world Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, in her home. She leaves in this world many who loved her: her father, Fred Mayberry, of Madison Heights; brothers, Kenneth Mayberry and wife, of Appomattox, Mark and Gary Mayberry, both of Lynchburg; her husband, Otis Douglas, and sister, Malina Essex, both of Lynchburg; mother-in-law, Olivia Douglas Mayberry, of Lynchburg; and three beautiful daughters, Brittany Michelle Douglas, Samantha Marie Douglas and Kimberly Leanne Douglas.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. today, Nov. 13, 2010, at Burch-Messier Walnut Street Chapel, 1235 Walnut St., Bedford, with the Rev. Randy Mills officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Instead of flowers, the family requests that you consider the needs of the family and make donations to Brittany Douglas, 113 North Hill Crest Drive, Madison Heights, VA 24572.
Burch-Messier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
